Thunderstorms threatened so we went back to the house. Within minutes, serious lightning and thunder, we huddled under a blanket on the sofa. i hugged them close to me until it passed.
They wanted to invite friends over but Daphne had warned me not to allow that if it came up. They told me they didn't like me and they wanted to see their friends but i reiterated that their mom had given me instructions. I tried to get them interested in sex again but they said we already did that. Go figure! We played more card games, they dragged out the Legos but argued which sets belonged to who, more ugh. Finally i fixed them supper.
Daphne returned around 7:00. She ate them took me back to Mw's and thanked me profusely. Next week the girls start day camp. Hopefully that'll channel some of their attention. One can only hope.
